LTCL and A-Level performance prep.

And so it begins! In preparation for my A level performance recital before the actual exam (exam date to be released) at Coleg Cambria on the 8th of Feb ’24 and my LTCL exam either on the 24/25th of March, I started a 100 days practice challenge from 31st October. The challenge being to practice something every day until that point, there are multiple ways to practice and to keep it fresh. I had my second specific lesson with my fab teacher Andrew Edwards today and know i have a lot of work ahead, but in the words of a friend, i must “crack on”!

I’ve chosen to play the first movement of the CPE Hamburger Sonate, Syrinx and the Jasmine Choi arrangement on the Monti Czardas for my A level performance.

For my LTCL, the programme will consist of: CPE Hamburger Sonate (complete), Hue Fantasie, Schubert Trockne Blumen variations and the Choi/Monti Czardas. It’s a really great programme I’m excited to get back on the boil and get my teeth into! Bring it on!

“May the odds be ever in my favour”!

Homework!
Selected pieces.
My favourite mug and Jakeman’s have been on hand today as I’m full of cold.
